This is a repository of materials of various kinds that David and or Torben, or one of our associates, have developed and that we are making available for general use. The conditions attached to the use of these materials are contained within them but in all cases they are made freely available for educational use. Some (for example the materials from the Nuffield D&T project that David led) are copyright; these can be used and adapted for classroom use but permission needs to be sought for any other uses. Others are released under Creative Commons licences that spell out exactly what may and may not be done with them; generally these are released under a ‘Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0’ Licence. This licence lets you remix, tweak, and build upon the work non-commercially, as long as you credit the author and licence your new creations under the identical terms. This means that any derivative works will also be non-commercial in nature. That is, you can use these materials flexibly but you can’t profit from them.
